Unlike doctors, nurses usually go by their first name in person. However, in an email setting, it's best to go formal until invited otherwise. Using “Mr.,” “Mrs.,” or “Ms.” followed by their last name is an excellent way to start an email.

"Hello, Nurse [Last Name]": This is another formal option that maintains a professional tone while addressing them by their title and last name. "Hello": If you're unsure of how to address your primary care provider, using a simple "Hello" can be neutral and allow them to introduce themselves by the name they prefer.
