Bhopal: The state government has issued guidelines for the complaints against corruption. The nod of chief minister would be required for initiating inquiry action against all India services class 1 rank officers, including the IAS, IPS and IFS officers.
The general administration department has issued orders in this regard. The orders were issued in compliance with the Ministry Of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
The orders were issued in regard to the prevention of corruption act 1988 section 17 a.
The order set the procedure for action under the act. Under it, for the all India service class 1 officers, CM would be in the coordination while for class 2, 3 and 4, the decision would be taken by the administrative department concerned.
For seeking the permission, the administrative department concerned would make the checklist through the nominated officer.
After completing the procedure, the department would seek permission for all India services class 1 rank officers.
In other cases, the approval or decision would be taken by the administrative department and investigation agency would be apprised of the same.
The general administration department has already directed all department heads to follow the orders in letter and spirit.
