GPSC AE Eligibility Criteria – Age Limit
- The candidate must be aged less than35years.
- There are relaxations for the upper age limit which has been given to candidates of various categories as per the government rules prescribed for the purpose.
- One must remember the date of birth entered in the high school certificate or equivalent certificate issued by the Board / Council will only be accepted by the commission.

- Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
- Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
GPSC AE Eligibility Criteria – Nationality
The candidates must either a:
- Citizen of India
- A subject of Bhutan or Nepal
- Tibetan refugee who migrated permanently to India before 1st January 1962.
- Indian origin person from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Vietnam
GPSC AE Eligibility Criteria - Health & Fitness
The candidate must meet the following health requirements set by the GPSC to be eligible for this exam.
- The candidate must be of good mental condition, bodily health, and free from any physical defects that are likely to interfere with the discharge of his duty in the services.
- Candidates having disability OA, OL AND HH can apply (percentage of disability i.e. Here considering PD between 40% to 100%). Applicants possessing other than the prescribed physical disabilities are not eligible to apply.
- Every candidate selected for appointment shall be examined by the medical board prescribed by the Government.
- A candidate, who fails to satisfy the Medical Board, shall not be appointed.
GPSC AENumber of Attempts
