With their secretive relationship and sneaky tactics, it’s no wonder nobody could decipher if it was genuine or just a massive prank.
They finally unveiled glimpses of their intimate wedding, slyly confessing that it actually happened on March 29th.
People have been shipping them for ages and guess what? It finally happened! They are seriously the definition of “Marry your best friend”.

February/March 2023: Shayne proposes to Courtney
You won’t believe what I discovered! So, I happened to notice that Courtney has been wearing a ring lately, and of course, my curiosity got the best of me.
I went on a little stalking spree on her page until I found the exact moment when she went from ringless to ringed. Can you guess when it happened?
Well, Miller was last seen without a ring on January 10th, but guess what? On February 16th, I spotted a suspiciously similar ring on her finger (the same one as in the marriage photos).
Could it be a Valentine’s Day proposal? Maybe!!!
But here’s the interesting part, the proposal actually took place during a hike. And let me tell you, we had to do some serious scrolling on Shayne’s page to find that one gem of a photo with the mustache.
And guess what? Courtney’s side bangs were on point around that time too! I mean, seriously, the signs are all here that it happened way before!

Oh, and by the way, we also scrolled down on Courtney’s page and found out that she started wearing the ring in March. It’s in a few photos, but not in others. Interesting, right?
2019/2020 – Miller and Topp started dating!!
If you have noticed on the photo collage they posted one day after they got married there is this photo that seemingly hints at the time they started dating.
It is the black-and-white photo that we are talking about. We have Courtney on Shayne’s lap with both of them grinning at the camera.
After we did some more digging we came to the conclusion that that photo was taken during the actress’s red hair era, which was about four years ago.
I believe the Australia trip was the turning point. Courtney had been in a relationship for a while, then she mentioned being in a ‘hookup phase’ on a smoshcast around 2018/19.
Following that, she went on the Australia trip where she also dyed her hair. Being cooped up together and partying probably played a role in bringing out that change.
I am impressed that they never even slipped once about their relationship but I’m more impressed that every smosh cast and crew managed to not leak their relationship status, they had to have known for years

2010/2024 – First meeting and working together
Shayne and Courtney have been part of the Smosh YouTube channel for nearly ten years now.
During this time, the channel faced a lot of drama, including the departure of one of the original members, the parent company going bankrupt, and the channel almost shutting down.
Despite all the challenges and changes, Shayne and Courtney have remained loyal to the channel and are still active members today.
Apart from the founders, Shayne and Courtney are undeniably the most prominent faces of the Smosh brand.
They contribute both on and off screen, playing a significant role in shaping the brand and its success.
